Fundraising Activities

A series of activities will be conducted to raise funds for the event;

Official Celebration Dinner and Auction
In addition to the paddle there will be a dinner and auction of items provided by major sponsors. Tickets to the event are $100 per head.

RUSH Clothing Stores Window Posters
The Paddle for Parkinson’s window poster promoting the event features an image of Wade on the ski with the key message to donate in store. RUSH Clothing Stores will match every $1 donated to the cause through RUSH stores. Min $25,000 max $50,000 *please refer to next page for clarification.

Media Activity
To gain maximum exposure of the event, media activity will be undertaken. Southern Cross Ten will provide a 30 second TV Commercial for the duration of the campaign to drive people to the website. Local media contacts have also agreed to cover the event in local news broadcasts and print media.

Flyer Distribution
A flyer will be distributed via letter boxes (in the vicinity of each Rush Clothing store ) to drive people to the website to donate. Approximately 100,000 copies will be distributed throughout S/E QLD.
